Hello Fellow Aloha Fixer Upper Dudes!
I'm usually the one fixing issues with aloha but this time I have a doozy and my hair is getting grayer by the second.
I have a site with 7 Terminals and a BOH that was running great for 3 Years until their Switch went bust. I replaced the switch with the same make and model switch and I had to rebuild the network structure for Aloha.
Now I randomly get the "Can Not Locate Master Terminal Trying To Recover" on one terminal while all the other Terminals are up and running. When that Terminals is booting back up another Terminal will pop up with the same message and it will randomly keep doing this, sometime dropping 2 Terminals at a time.
I tried:
Making 1 Terminal Master and Server Capable = NG
Switching the IP Scheme = NG
Terminals are Posiflex FDD (Non Hard Drive) running XP Pro while BOH is running 2003 Server.
I have a Hard Drive Version Posiflex (KS6215) and a Gigabit Switch (10/100/1000) that I'm going to drop in tomorrow to try and alleviate this craziness.
As always your assistance and time is greatly appreciated.
