Random one way audio 3

Hello, running IPO 500 V2 8.1

Running into problems with random one-way audio. I was able to trace one of the calls as it happened and here is the trace:

I can't figure out why this happens at what seems to be random times. Any help is greatly appreciated.

One way audion on what scenario?
Sip trunk to ip phone?
Sip trunk to didgital set?
Sip trunk to analog set?
Sip trunk to VM?
Sip trunk to SIP trunk?
Sip trunk through AA to IP Phone?
I will not sum up all scenarios but you'll get the point : with so much possible scenarios we can impossibly direct you to a solution.
You need to provide more specific info.

My first thought goes to the firewall, one way or no audio is either a routing problem or a firewall problem.
One thing to try first is to disable direct media path on the ip phones, it may help.
 
First thing I did was uncheck allow direct media path

I thought it might be a firewall issue, but we have all the correct ports open, as we have 5 other locations with the same settings.

This one is a mystery to me. I couldn't see anything in the trace that would indicated any particular problem.
 
Does it show RDP or VCM in system status?
I agree with intrigrant as this is routing.
What is your IP route to the provider?
Use monitor to see which IP address the packets are send back.
If you use (example) 172.16.1.1 in your IP route as destination but it is being send to 192.168.1.1 then you will have no sound.
Preferable you can use 0.0.0.0

What firmware is there running on the 9611?

Use the following files from below;

-96x1Hupgrade.txt -mlf_S96x1_v76_XXXXXXX.txt

-S9621_41HALBR6_2_3_13_V452.tar

Through the Manager (embedded file management) you can put the files on the server in the primary folder, then restart the IP Phones that will now be upgraded from version 6.2.2.09> 6.2.3.13!

I believe the route is right, but I will follow the trace to see what's being sent.

I will try that if all else fails. The other locations are all on the same firmware and don't have these issues which leads me to believe that's not the problem, but you never know - it could be.


Excuse my lack of info on this one, but would this make any difference.... On the extensions for supplementary service we have it set as None but there is a H450 option, could/would this make any difference?

We had the same problem and solved by changing "Combo card"

We had 2 VCM32 Card and 2 Combo card, one of them had issued with VCM Channels.
