Random Characters on Phone Display

Hello,

Here is the scenerio, a caller at site A calls someone at site B. The person at site B transfers the call to another person at site B. When the transfer is complete, the person's name that was originally called remains on the phone's display at site A along with a random character or number added to the end of the name. We are connected via a DS3 Tie and utilize UDP and operate G3r V9.5

Any ideas on what causes the random characters??

Does a list trace station, trunk, etc. turn anything up? Can you produce the same result by using another trunk group or is it related to one specific trunk group?

we haven't performed a list trace but the results are the same on all trunk groups.

We have 7406 plus display phones and if I don't put a y in the display field on the station form page 1 we will get characters etc. on the displays.

We use 6416D+M phones and the display field on the station form is not an option.
