Hey guys, were trying to build a simple ACD queue, (ie no Symposium, etc.)we don't have any wiring chart for wiring up the Interalia. Any help would be appreciated reletive to hooking up the digital announcer.

Thanks

I found the book for the Interalia, but it doesn't tell me the Option 11 wiring.

This Interailia was the "Pain" wiring. Any help on the wiring configuration would be appreciated.

you've more the likely got e&m, pair 1 is tip and ring, the second goes back to the second pair on the trunk card, the next pair on the int usually needs to go to ground.. what is the model number?

Set the thing for continuous play. You will use 2 pair to wire this up. NT8D14 first pair goes straight to the tn. TN White/Blue to Interalia White/Blue. White from the white/orange pair goes to the white of the Interalia. Orange from the white orange pair goes to a ground source. This should do it for you. I may have the orange pair backwards as I am typing this from memory.

i think you do turn that white/orange over, but it's been a while

Anyone know the wiring of the older Digital Announcers ? This is a NT one that was moved with a site last week. No one bothered to look at the old wiring before removal ! It also needs 48 VDC wired to it ( no power supply ). This should be fun. :)

It would be alot eaiser for everyone to help you without having to read this old post if you would start a new post with your new question.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Hello, tonight I have to remotely configure an opt11 to an interalia. I have read all posts referring to this and still would appreciate some clarification.

I understand the following:

Pair 1 from trunk card goes to bix and cross connects to pair one on interalia. White from orange pair goes to ground and orange to bix; this then gets cross connected directly to interalia.

I hope I am correct with the above.

However I read on another post the following:
trvlr1 (TechnicalUser) 17 Jul 08 11:58
THe punch down should be done the same as any digital or analog cards. There is only 8 ports though, so the used pairs are 0,2,4,6,8 etc and count as 0,1,2,3,4 etc respectively when programming. Is this what you are looking for?
strmwalker (TechnicalUser) 17 Jul 08 12:00
you have seven ports 0 thru 7 0=w/bl 1=w/grn 2 w/slt 3=r/or4=r/brn 5=bk/bl 6=bk/grn 7=bk/slt no problems only solutionsstrmwalker

Now I am a bit confused! I have read the manual for interalia and it states that I need to download software to the nt8d14!! I am not sure what software. Also it says I am to configure opt 11 for Audiochron Announcer (where do I configure this). How do I ensure the group (ie. acd) gets directed to the interalia?? I suppose through a ran but....

any help appreciated, by the way still looking for an all round telco employee!!!!

Thank you in advance for your direction

very cool and thank you. moh is already utilizing pair one off the universal trunk card. on the far end they already punched down directly as per the color code.

this is what i put in for rdb

and attached it to the next available member on the trunk card. currently i get fast busy when dialled.

on an earlier post i saw something about grounding pair 2

on thing i am wondering in load 14 i put in 51 1 for rtmb as i only have this as a member of the route, not sure if correct. thanks for helping, under the gun

Be careful of your TARG to TGAR they shouldn't match by the way...Best give it '0' on both Member and Route

Cheers!!

Set up Interalia for continuous play. You should be able to find the manual on the web and it will tell you how to set it up for a Nortel switch. Then connect the following.

Wiring is different depending on what model Interalia you have. look up the manuals at interalia.com

Interalia NT8D14

Ring Ring
CP (C) Tip2/2nd PR ***This would be the tip of the pair between trunk ports***
