Ran Safe Recovery, now cannot login. 1

Hi

I had Business Objects installed and runnning ok.
The server alias name that the database is stored on changed, so we needed to change Business Objects to reflect this.

So I chose the option to Run Safe Recovery. This appeared to work ok, as I did not receive any error. The new BOMain.key was created successfully.

But when I went to log into Supervisor/Designer/BusinessObjects I could not log in as the super user that I had set as the general supervisor.

When I attempted to log in I got a message saying:
Your login is not valid. (USR0003)

If anyone knows what has gone wrong here, could you please help me.

It might possible that you have connect to some other repository while doing safe recovery.

The prob was with the repository I was using alright.

Hi,

I recently ran the Safe Recovery option - I am now able to login in appropriately. However, some users are getting the error mesage that jessiejc was getting -
'Your login is not valid'.
When I login from my PC with their user ids - it works fine. I have alredy passed on my BOMain.key and .lsi files to them.

Any help appreciated.
