RAM Usage

Odd question I guess, but I could not find an answer elsewhere.

Do you save RAM by having your Desktop(Screen) color plain Black, or does it matter at all?

It does not matter at all. Black is a color attribute that takes as much space as any other color selection.

of course, having a plain backround (color irrelevant) vs. a large graphic on the desktop does conserve some system resources - which may be what aussie was alluding to.
