Raising call volume on forwarded calls?

The system - TDA200 with copper trunks and a TVA200 Voicemail system.

Our problem and question -
The AA has many options for a caller to reach a sales representative by having the call forwarded to the sales persons cell phone. This is for reps all over the USA.

The call volume on these calls being forwarded back out of the system is very low and hard to hear.

What is the preferred or best way to raise the volume on these calls? I am told that a line amplifier is an option but I cannot even find one out there.

Any sugestions??

You can ask your carrier to up the DB gain . Viking model RAD-AMP Unit May help

Do you *have* to do the forwarding with two PBX copper pairs?

I have setup one cell phone at work, I forward to an XDP with a magic box on it (Sandman Universal Call Handler). The magic box flashes through the PBX, sets up a 3-way call (using local-link/centrex features) and then drops the PBX out of the picture entirely.

The beauty here is that as the call is joined at the CO, you are not losing any SQ -and- you aren't tying up system lines.

The downside is chewing up the XDPs and the cost of the boxes.

I have been told that i can also purt line amplifiers on a couple lines and have the system dial the CO to CO calls out on this line group.

BUT, I was also just told that the echo cancellation card (Echo16 or KX-TDA0166) also solves the gain loss problem for the TDA line if pbx's.

Does anyone have any experience with this card? Does it work?
