Raid question on V440

Why can't I create a 2nd mirrorset using the v440's onboard RAID card?

I have 4 disks in there, i want to create 2 mirrors...

how do i go about it...
dont really want software RAID..

Didn't know the V440 has an onboard raid controller.

See thread 60-88836(or use search) on this site for setting up a mirror.

it does, but not much of one obviously!!!
it comes with the raidctl command to setup the mirror, but only allows one mirror..sucks!

i dont want to go down the software route, guess i may have to!

You are correct the internal raid controller only allows
you to set up one pair of the four internal disk. I got this info from the server admin manual (on sun Solve).
