Raid Manager 6.22 1

Hi folks. I'm just starting to build my first A1000-based system (with a V480 host). I know that I'll need RM 6.22, but cannot find it on either of the Solaris install CDs. Can anyone put me out of my misery with a quick hint as to where to get the software, please? I'm also a little confused as to which SCSI ids to assign to my (3) A1000's, so any advice on that would be much appreciated too. I seem to have a surfeit of cables, but I guess that goes with the territory! Many thanks in advance.

Well, step one completed - eventually found the software on the Sunsolve site. I think this looks like a Monday morning job, not a Friday afternoon one! Cheers.

How many scsi controllers do you have your 480?

Andy, thanks for your response. There are three controllers on the V480. Cheers.

Then you don't need to worry about scsi id's. It's only important if you have multiple scsi devices on the same controller. I usually set them all to 5.
