RAID disk recovery

Is ther a procedure for recovering from a disk failure in a three disk raid array?

I need a step by step procedure for this, is there any information on how to do this on an adaptec raid controller?

Dell's Knowledgebase has quite a few articles on RAID rebuilds, it's been a while since I last did one so I couldn't give you an accurate step-by-step guide.

This would depend on several things:
1. What server?
2. What kind of RAID card?
3. What is the firmware of the RAID card
4. What is your RAID setup? (Raid 1, 5, 10)
