Radiant Hardware Repair

I am not even sure where model where dealing with here just yet, but does anyone know who can repair Radiant hardware? I've got an LCD that looks like the bulb is burn out. I was thinking maybe someone like Retail Tech, but wasn't sure if this was something that would have to be done through Radiant Directly.

Is this a piece of Radiant hardware or 3rd party running Radiant software....
If it is Radiant hardware ...You will most likely have to go to Radiant..
But if you are feeling adventurous take it apart remove the bulb and see if you can find a local distributor.

No, it's Radiant top to bottom (hardware and software). And that's kind of what I figured, and why I usually move clients AWAY from Radiant hardware when I pick up new accounts... just too limiting for the customers options. I will likely wash my hands of it, and tell them client he can contact Radiant or the local dealer if he wants to--as always, I try to help when
I can, but I don't want to get involved in that.

We haven't had any go out that weren't under warranty. I'm sure its just a regular bulb. Our bench techs replace them in Posiflex and IBM Surepos all the time and my guess is they will be doing these also as the warranties expire. Unfortunatley I don't know how to get into them to do that, we have a seperate dept. that goes that deep. You may be able to have a local computer repair place do it, as I am guessing that a 15" LCD bulb is a 15" LCD bulb.

I can't recall if you are a dealer or not. If so, go onto the e-order website and submit a hardware replacement form. It's really easy to do, all you need is the serial number and what's wrong with it. After that they will next day a new terminal for you, then you send back the bad one.
