I have been working with our network team to setup the AD policy for our Aloha BOH server (on the domain) we want to control the firewall policy via active directory. We have determined that we need to open UDP port 11001 for RAL to work (otherwise terminal cannot get configuration from BOH).

When we add the exception in on the server it works fine. However, we we try to manage at the group level it does not. Where do we need to specify this port as being opened for RAL in AD? Everywhere our AD folks have tried does not work.

BOH OS: Server 2008
Aloha: 6.4.23
RAL: 2.3.2.3

Port# Type Usage
11000 TCP SocketListenPort RAL on BOH and FOH AlAdmSrv.exe
AlhAdmin.exe

11001 UDP Multicast UDP Listen Port
AlAdmSrv.exe
AlhAdmin.exe

11002 UDP Multicast UDP SendPort
AlAdm?Srv.exe
AlhAdmin.exe
