I have a Radeon X1600Pro SB Edition X1600AGP512sB. I installed the card then booted into Vista Enterprise. Window automatically installed the drivers. When windows reboots I get a blue screen. I can now only access vista in safe mode. I downloaded drivers and tried to update the drivers but vista tells me it has a up to-date driver. My motherboard is a Asus P4PE with a Intel845PE/GE Chipset. The powersupply is 420 watts. Also when Vista automatically installed the drivers I could not cancell the installation of the drivers to install the ones I downloaded . I do have video but when I install the new drivers and reboot I get a blue screen. I believe the wiring is correct.

First, make sure you've d/l the correct drivers for your video card, and for Vista(32 bit or 64 bit).

If you have the correct drivers, then did you uninstall the old video card's drivers in Add/Remove Programs, and remove the old video card from Device Manager?
If not, then shut down the system, remove the new video card, reinstall the old one, start up in Safe mode, uninstall the old video card's software, remove the old video card from Device Manager(DO NOT restart if prompted), shut down, remove the old video card, reinstall the new one, start normally, and install the new video card's drivers.
