I'm experiencing an intermittent problem with my new graphics card, a Powercolor Radeon 9700 (non-pro). Often, when I start or restart my pc there is no picture, although everything else seems to be working OK. Manually resetting usually does the trick. I had a similar problem with another Powercolor card, a 9700 pro, which I returned thinking it was faulty (previosuly I had a Sapphire 8500LE which was fine). This has happened on different monitors, so I know it isn't the screen that is faulty. My power supply is unlikely to be the culprit, as its a brand new Antec Truepower 480w beast. The card is firmly fitted in the AGP slot and the connector lead on the Radeon is not shared with any other hardware. Powercolor suggested turning Fast Writes off but this made no difference. Does anyone have any suggestions?
