radeon 7000 dual head problems

I have a hercules 7000 dual display AGP card on an Asrock K7 upgrade mobo, installed the driver and also ultramon 2.5. I can plug in the 2nd monitor while in windows and select it, and it powers up and extends my desktop. However when I reboot, the primary monitor powers down into standby, and the 2nd one takes over. Is this an issue with my monitors? They are
Primary- CTX 1565D
Seconday- Elonex SV14LR
(Both are quite old)
Full spec-
AMD Sempron2800+
Asrock K7U880
512 DDR
Maxtor 80gb HDD
Creative CDRW 2224
Generic atapi CDR 40x
SBLive!
Please help as I'm running out of hair!!

What is your OS?
Finding good support for your Radeon 7000 may be difficult, as this is not a recent card. This may be driver related. Try to get different driver releases to see if it makes any difference. Sometimes the most recent drivers may not work properly because they are not tested thoroughly with older cards.

I am on XP pro, I'll give some of the older drivers a try. Thanks
