I havent tried to connect to a RAD in probably 5 years. I keep getting "rad did not respond". does it need to be connected to a DN? I am just trying to test it and my NRU here before I get out to site.

make sure you are hooked up to a good port on the switch. if the port is good go under maintanance in the programming and see if the port recognizes the RAD. also try hitting feature 9** on a programming phone and see if it asks for password, if so then you know the RAD is functioning correctly.

Money may not buy you happiness, but in MLB it buys you CHAMPIONSHIPS. (27 and counting). MLB,stands for Major League Baseball for you slower Boston Fans!

Usually just connecting the RAD to a good digital port works but sometimes I have to reboot the KSU, espically if I'm replacing an existing RAD. At any rate you must be able to access the RAD from a phone by Feature 9** and set the password before you can access it remotely.
