Just ran into this the other day going from 8.1 (79) to R9 SP2 - 9.0.2 (845) and wondering if anyone has a ticket going with Avaya yet (or perhaps a solution/workaround).
Unified messaging was working fine via Exchange 2010 running a W2k8r2. The VM Pro upgrade spit out a few errors the first time through when trying to modify folders in inetpub. Ran a repair and got no errors the second time around.
VM to email stopped working completely. From the control panel it had inserted =SMTP: into the Account Details for email but didn't change anything else. I switched it back to the outlook account that we were using before and restarted the service, but still no luck.
Disabling MAPI allowed SMTP relay to function again. With no other changes made it looks like either MAPI is broken with this release or that they added an additional requirement for MAPI to function.
Any thoughts?
