JIRA Number Description of Issue
IPOFFICE-114335 System Manager will not synchronize with IP Office

Surprised anyone would even bother with 9.1.10. Going through hoops to simply make an offline config is unacceptable. The fact that Avaya would not have that functionality properly tested is truly frustrating. How can making a backup of your config, something EVERYONE should do, not work properly?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Easy to say not to use it but some people need it for the bugfixes in it.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Maybe we should come up with a test plan for them.
Listing all the screw ups from the past to test for because they will have a hard time coming up with new problems so they recycle :)

im still shocked at how slow they are to correctly address bugs, i suffered through the call park issue from sp6 to sp9

But if Avaya correctly tested for previous bugs and quit recycling them we would have far less to post about on tek-tips!

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

There is a critical patch available from Avaya to resolve this issue if you do not want to run r10 manager.

The tech I worked with said it has to be requested through Support (though he also said I could share it).

I would not put the patch out there until it is available on the downloads page. Typically, if it's not on the downloads page, that means it's being released to specific customers only, to resolve specific issues. And Avaya only releases the patch in response to a SR, then they know everyone who has the patch, as sometimes there are specific requirements for moving PAST that patch, such as another issue which needs to be patched (e.g. customer1 has releaseX.x, requires patch A. Then customer2 also has release X.x, but requires patchB. Then customer 1 also needs patch B, which means they now need Release X.x + A + B, at least until release X.x+1 comes out.... etc. etc. This kind of stuff happens on occasion for large customers who have found major service-affected issues.

Might seem like a stupid policy, but if you follow the logic through it makes sense.

The tech I worked with said no patch until SP 11.
If someone wants it, since the tech said I could share it, let me know. But for the sake of what Greybeard said, I won't post it here.
