I need to disable sip options on an ip500v2 with R9.1. Does anyone know the nouser source? I tried it with SIP_OPTIONS_PERIOD=0, but it’s still sending options to my carrier.

One option (pun intended) is to try turning off Check OOS. IP Office systems use the regular sending of OPTIONS requests as one of the methods to check that the line is still available without actually making a call.

In theory if you turn Check OOS off, it may take longer for calls to attempt to use other outgoing lines if you have multiple lines.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Yeah Check OOS is what causes the IPO to send option messages.

...and depend on the IP Office release, I think that the SIP NUSN don't work anymore. Avaya added the Engineering tab on SIP Lines at some point for the addition of custom strings - but as with NUSNs they have kept the list of those custom strings very private.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
