I have 4 systems, one has the preferred license and from what I read that should propagate over the SCN to the other systems. Which it does for 2 of the systems, but the 3rd it does not show up at all in status. I am honestly not very well rounded in how licensing works on these systems, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the SCN up and working between the main site and this site? Is the voicemail setup as centralized and pointed over the SCN line to the VM Pro site?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Yes, they can ping each other.

How would I check this?

Go to system>voicemail tab on the system that is not working and see how it is setup. Should be set to centralized and the line group id should be the SCN group ID that points to the system with VM Pro.

You said you can ping between the sites but can you dial an extension on a different system?

sysmonitor-status-small community networking should show other IPOs in the network

Alright it is set up exactly like that. Also we did a reboot on the main system and 4 digit dialing no longer works

Thank you, yeah it is showing down fully, looks to try to start and then gives up.

Just in case someone ever has the same problem we did figure it out. We removed the system in question from the SCN, rebooted the troubled system, and right after the main system holding the license. I re added everything in the trouble system and then added the trouble back too the main in 'lines'. One more reboot for the both and after waiting a few minutes they came back up with the licenses and coms back.

Thank you guys for the help.

That is pretty typical Avaya...

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result... in the case of Avaya it usually works.

Gave you some pink for posting the resolution which is so important in case someone searches the site and stumbles upon your post.
