Hi,

I need some help with R5 Licensing. Could anyone explain what the difference is between all the following types of licensing available with R5 -->

Lotus Notes
Lotus Notes Mail
Lotus Notes Desktop
Lotus Notes Designer
Lotus Notes Administrator
Lotus iNotes/Domino CAL

Thanks.

I can't answer your question fully, but I know a company that could and help you with what you need. I have used them myself.

Triangle Group

Simon Jennings
Account Manager

Castle Malwood
Minstead
Hampshire
SO43 7PE

Tel: 02380 816000

Cheers for that, but I don't really want to have to get in touch with a company who will try and sell me something or charge me for this information.

Does anyone know the info I need??

Cheers.

They are not really a compnay like that or I wouldn't have recommended them.

Lotus Notes (Full Notes Client App)
Lotus Notes Mail (Notes Mail Access Only)
Lotus Notes Desktop (?)
Lotus Notes Designer (Notes Developer CLient)
Lotus Notes Administrator (Notes/Domino Server Admin)
Lotus iNotes/Domino CAL (iNotes Web based Notes Client Access Licence (CAL) )

Again, thankyou for the information that you have provided. I have dealt with many companies that have tried to charge me enormous amounts for bits of information, that is the only reason I do not wish to get involved with calling the company up you suggested.

Do you (or anyone else) know what the Lotus Notes Desktop License allows??

Thanks.
