Maybe read the error log to find out what is the problem?

pardon me if i sound Dumb...infact i had tried to figure out the log file in Oracle Directory couldnt find it.Where do i get the Error Log file saved? Tried a windows search for *.log and still couldnt manage to get hold of it....:-(
If it tells you a "log file has been created", it must be somewhere.
Also try looking for errors in the WinDoze "Event Viewer" file.
