It looks like I have inherited a phone system and would like some one to tell me the capacity of lines and stations in each module. Is there any analog stations?
Module 1 is a 206E R3.1
Module 2 is a 206EC R3.1
Processor is a R2.0
Module 3 is a 200
Thank you for any help.

Hi! [bigsmile]

You can connect up to telephone lines and 6 analog telephones on each 206 module. The 200 module is used to connect only 2 telephone lines to the system.

If the processor is a Partner ACS R2, you can add 8 analog telephones to that module.

Based on the list of the other modules in the system I am guessing that the processor is a Partner Plus. I don't think there are any port connections on the Partner Plus R2 processor.

Oh, I almost forgot, the 206EC works with Caller ID while the 206E does not.

Total capacity of your system is 6 telephone lines and 12 extensions. [smile]

and yes, your system does have analog ports. you can use any of ports on the system as an analog port.

If it is an ACS processor, you can add three telephone lines in addition to the eight telephone sets. (So your total capacity is 9 telephone lines and 20 telephone sets.) I would also verify the release by dialing Feature and then 59 from any display phone; sometimes the systems have been upgraded w/ PCMCIA card upgrades after the original install.

If the processor says Partner II, and doesn't have a bunch of line/phone jacks, it is a fairly old system; should still work OK, but may or may not hold its memory if the power fails. (System will come back up after a power outage, but individual buttons will be gone, all lines will ring, and the VM will be messed up.)
