R12/R13 CMS System Printer Installation

I have a client who doea not have a CMS printer installed. Does anyone have the UNIX commmands to install a new printer that we can default daily reports to? I have the printer name and IP address...

Don't know if it's an option for your customer but it is a lot easier to set up auto scripts in CMS Supervisor and then use Windows scheduler to have it print to a network printer.

This option would be preferable. Would you have the procedures on how to do this with CentreVu supervisor?

1) Generate the report in CMS Supervisor (if it's historical use relative dating, where -1 is 1 day ago, -2 is 2 days ago, etc)

2) Select report | script - use the browse feature to choose a path and filename, save it as an Automatic Script. If prompted, enter your CMS login ID / password


3) Go to your windows control panel and select "Scheduled Tasks". Use the wizard to add a new scheduled task. When prompted for your login/pw here it is your network login.
