R10.1 IPOSE Virtualized on AWS 1

Has anyone successfully launched a system via AWS EC2 yet? I am trying to spin-up a test system and cannot locate the AWS AMI supposedly called ipo-cpe-10.1.0125
How do you select the image if it cannot be found? Strange...

Took me five seconds. Launch instance, select community AMIs, search on Avaya. Ditto searching on IP Office.

... that said, it does look like you have to select the 'US East (N.Virginia)' zone.

Yep, that was it. Have a star!
I had mine created under the US East (Ohio) zone and I guess it is not available under that one. Doesn't it seem strange that they would not have the populated under all the regions?
Have you actually spun this up or no?

What is the difference between CPE and hosted?

I am not certain.... I might try the partner hosted next. I need to get the documented one working first though...

Partner Hosted is the image used for systems installed and managed under Avaya's OSS/Powered by Avaya product range. I think its install process is different as Avaya have a method of injected the preconfigured settings for the customers for who the virtual server is being launched.

The CPE image is the one for anyone who wants to install and manage their own virtual server (it means 'Customer Premises Equipment' despite being in the cloud).

I think, but can't swear to it, that the machine you end up with is the same, just the install process differs.

From a quick search it looks like even though the AMI is only listed under N.Virginia, it possible to move the instance to another region after launch.
