I have Partner Plus Communicatiosn Systems Release 4.1 and Partner Mail VS Release 4.
When I hit 777 and ext. 99 and the 1234 password, it tells me "You cannot get your messages now due to multiple logins to your mailbox. Please disconnect." No one else is logged in-what is going on? I am having the following problems:

1) When the AA picks up and people press to hear an annoucement (a directory of extension numbers) they can't press the extension number to be transfered to the voicemailbox. They can't press anything without getting the "invalid entry" message. (They can press zero though to get the receptionist.)I was trying to change the announcement to tell people to press *8 and then the extension but then I coudn't log into the system (above question)
1) when I transfer a call to one particular extension, the phone never rings. When I try to transfer someone to that extension's voicemail, the call goes to another extension's voicemailbox.
2) the clock seems to be speeding up on its own(?)
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

First, try restarting the system. Either rock the power switch off and on, or FEATURE 00, Left INTERCOM twice, #728. Wait for the system to restart, and a couple of minutes for the Voice Mail to restart, then see if you can log into mailbox 99.

Is the extension in question forwarded to another extension? It may cancel when you reset the system, otherwise try FEATURE 11, the Extension Number, and the Extension Number again. Also do the same with FEATURE 20.

And yes, from an announcement you MUST dial "*8" and an extension number to transfer out.

The clock can gain or lose time, reset it with FEATURE 00, Left INTERCOM twice, #103, HHMM (in military format). Monitor it for a few days/weeks and see how accurate it stays. The Voice Mail gets its Time and Date from the system clock.

Thank you for your quick reply!! I wil try your suggestions today and let you know how it works out. Thanks again-Rida
