"Windows Update" hangs on Download.

I have a 2K server on SP3 and when I try to perform a Windows Update, it performs the update scan, allows me to select what I want to download & install, offers me the Licence Agreement, which I accept, goes to the download screen and just hangs.

I have run Stinger on it and have the Blaster Patch.

I am able to download individual components and install them, but that's a pain.

Any ideas?

Called Microsoft on the same issue and their fix worked.
Start, Run, dcomcnfg, OK.
Click on the default security tab.
Under Default Access Permissions click Edit Default.
The Interactive account should be their with Allow Access. It wasn't on my server so I added the account, logged out and back in and that corrected the problem.
