Hi All. I'm installing new IPO Preferred Edition in a hospital with over 200 analog room phones. I would like to create a short code or module to be able to dial into that would announce my extension to confirm the phone is on the correct port.[ponder]

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Take a look into available system variables
it should be something like $NUM
$NAM dir example stands for the username.

Be aware that the correct users are logged in on their base extensions. SSA wil show you.

If you have a mobile Endpoint like DECT or WiFi phone it will be easier to call that one from the room extension.

Make a VMPRO module with a shortcode to access it. In a disconnect action, put a prompt of $CLI

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Sweet! Thanks ya'll. I'll set it up in-house and test before I go onsite.

I guess you only get pink after it's proven to work.

I'm clear but my fighter is down.

I have posted this long ago and it works, module WhoAmI Start>generic prompt $CLI.wav followed by MC00.wav and again $CLI.wav
