Has anyone experienced this error with Sql upsized Access DB's?
I have a purchasing system upsized from access to sql and it's been working fine for about 1 1/2 years, then about a month ago, people started getting errors. The screen would freeze (about 40% of the time) when a record was attempting to update, then after a minute would display the "update on tblPOlog_remote failed" error. But, the record did get updated with the users change.
We have tried truncating the transaction log on checkpoint to maintain the trans log to 6-8 mb instead of 230 mb. (which we thought was part of the problem) didn't help.
We have even backed it up and restored it on an entirely different server, and still same problem.
No drastic code changes during this time either. Does anyone have any ideas or tools to use to resolve this?
It's been a month and the users are getting REALLY frustrated, and i'm fresh out of ideas....appreciate any suggestions!
