I get the following message eacj time I click on a combo box

"The Data Has Changed. Another user edited this record and saved the changes before you attempted to save your changes. Redit the Record"

After I click the message box, and retry the combo box, the message doesn't come up and I can proceed.

I'm the only one on the database. It's annoying to have to click through the message box each time.

Is there some easy solution to this? So the message won't appear?

I guess that you have some code somewhere that updates the current record ...

Hope This Helps, PH.

Will setting all the record sets to adopendynamic etc stop the message box?

Is your form bound ?
If yes then why updating the current record of the underlaying table with a recordset ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Well I've got quite a lot going on with this little database, including bound sub-forms, record sets, etc That's why I'm confused where the update message is coming from. I was only hoping there was an easy cure...
