Anyone have a clue where I can look this error up? ("sqloopen -2062614522")

More info on the error: We are running the DB2 UDB v8 EXPORT utility (Linux) to pull a large amount of data from mainframe to a mapped directory on local server...

SQL3001C An I/O error (reason = "<reason>") occurred while opening the output file.

Explanation:
A system I/O error occurred while opening the output file. The command cannot be processed. No data is processed.

User Response:
For IMPORT/LOAD, verify that the output file exists. For EXPORT, verify that the output media has enough free space. Resubmit the command with a valid output file name, including the correct path. Look in the message file for additional information.

Message file:
SQL3104N The Export utility is beginning to export data to file
"/backup/db2/home/db2inst1/UDBmount-homer/UDB-ftp-data/SAMAS.IXF".

SQL3001C An I/O error (reason = "sqloopen -2062614522") occurred while opening the output file.

SQL3105N The Export utility has finished exporting "0" rows.

The only thing I can think of on this is that your path is not correct (directory doesn't exist etc.) or maybe you don't have the authority on the output file. Sorry but I have no idea of where to find info on this error message.

Actually, I think I know this one (and it is my post-lol!) The directory I was writing to was not really local (mapped) and the communication protocal on the mapped drive changed from protected packets (TCP?) to Unprotected (UDP?) - or something like that. I'm a mainframe DBA trying to get by in your world!

When I get it resolved I will post the resolution -
Rick
