Hi, people!

I was wondering if anybody also had this problem: not being capable of sending some mails to some domains. The Domino Server release is 5.0.3, and here is a detailed log:

STMPClient: Attempting to Connect host mx.IG.COM.BR, Port 25, SSL Port 0, Connecting Domain server.localselcom.com.br

[0155:0003-0163]SMTPClient: Connection successful

[0155:0003-0163]SMTPClient: Receive Response: 500 Too_Many_Connections

[0155:0003-0163]SMTPClient: Attempting to Disconnect

[0155:0003-0163]SMTPClient: CommandQuit

[0155:0003-0163]SMTPClient: Connection terminated with Status: 2562

Router: No messages transferred to IG.COM.BR host mx.IG.COM.BR) via SMTP: SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error

Router: Failed to connect to SMTP host IG.COM.BR because SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error

Please, it's really urgent!

Thanks in advance,

Renan.

Here is your answer:
[0155:0003-0163]SMTPClient: Receive Response: 500 Too_Many_Connections
I think that pretty much sums it up. The server that you are sending to is prob. not configured correctly and cannot accept a lot of incoming connections. If they are running a website from the same machine, that could be why - if there are a lot of people on the server at the one time. Another reason could be a DOS attack on the server when you are trying to send mail to it.

Hope that helps
Adam
