Hey all,
I have a user who is trying to send an e-mail to his brother but is unable to. When he tries to send the e-mail he gets the following message:
"The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'accountname@domain.com'. Subject 'E-mail subject matter', Account: 'Name', Server: '192.168.2.9', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for accountname@domain.com', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79"
He is trying to send this e-mail to his brother who lives in another state. I've checked the Microsoft site but I can't find anything that applies. I did find one item with the same "server response," but that was for Exchange 5.5. I'm running MS Exchange 2000. Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening???
Thanks,
Joe Brouillette
