Hi, I have a problem using Acrobat 5. I have an huge pdf file with on the bottom of every page the name of the writer. I want this name to be removed. Instead of deleting it on every page manually I was wondering if there's an option to replace all those words at once ("search & replace"). Can anyon help me with this problem?

Thanks in advance.

SpronVis.

Do you want to delete the name, or replace it with another name, or what?

In Acrobat 5.0 you can crop out the bottom of the page, in effect deleting the text. *****************************************

I want to selcted a word "Hello". When this word is selected, Acrobat must find all words like "Hello". When all the words selected, they must be delete in ones step.

Maybe you can help me...

Thanks a lot...

What I really mean is that I want to know if there's an option to replace every word (like hello) at once into another word (like goodbye).

See I have this document with almost a 1000 pages. Each page ends with always the same sentence. This is irritating so I wn=ant to delete it. But to delete it 1000 times is crazy.

I don't exactly know what you mean by cropping out the end of a page. But please explain so I can try it.
Thanks

What you are trying to do is a Search & Replace All - which is virtually a word processing function. Acrobat is mostly a viewer with a few options thrown in. You are not going to be able to accomplish this within Acrobat.
