I need to be able to access and real email using OUTLOOK while logged in as ADMIN, even thought my email address is not the same as my admin login id.....

any way to do that in NT... 2000 has a "Run As" option....... but can't seem to figure out how to do it in NT

no need to use the runas ( despite you can )

right click on the outlook icon -->properties ,

create an outlook profile that will match your exchange account , and use password authentication , not log in
( find it on one of the screens at the properties ... )

then , when you'll try to run outlook , it will ask for user and password ..

good for public computer also ....

I tried that and get....

UNABLE TO OPEN YOUR DEFAULT EMAIL FOLDERS. YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO LOG ON....

and i have admin rights...

It never gives me the chance to put in user id/password

When you log is as Admin, are you logged in to the domain too?
And if so, do you as admin have the rights to the other mailbox?
Alternatively, you could setup that account as IMAP, that does not use your account restrictions.
