Hi, there.

I'm developing a utility for transmitting/receiving data thru 2 Ethernet cards. I don't want them to see each other (in order to skip the loopback), but when i try to delete the route from the route table with "route delete ip.addr" i get an error saying "Could'nt find route"...

...and typing "route print" i do find it...

can sm1 help?

Thanx a lot

The built-in Windows TCP/IP routes packets folowing 3 rules, which are, in order:
1. if destination is on the local physical network (same root IP address, same netmask), then send packet straight to destination
2. if it's a remote destination, then:
a} Check if there are routes defined by user and send packets conforming to those routes
b} Use a default gateway to route packets.
I think you are in the first case, so you have to put different netmasks (or/and root IPs) on the adapters and the gateways not to be one eachother's.
Good luck!
