We have two separate, unconnected Mitel SX2000 systems. Is there any way possible to have an extension in one location ring and appear on an extension at the other location?

To the best of my knowledge working with the 2K, both systems would need to be pulled together into a common cluster and managed by OpsMan & Enterprise Manager. Even then it's not perfect due to the intermachine signalling delays. The client would typically experience up to 1 second of delay between ringing, answer, hold and release supervision with clustered key appearances. It works, but users on both systems need to be aware of this caveat.

Unconnected is the key word. The SX2000 can do remote DSS/BLF at Rls32 and up I believe, however this is over T1 utilizing MSDN.

Thanks to you both for your help. I am going to go right ahead and make a management decision here and tell the users they are out of luck. I think this is more of a nice-to-have rather than a must-have.

If it's a "must-have" then it's also a MUST $$PEND to have the necessary infrastructure to make it work. Even when properly set up the signalling delays make it a complaint-generator. I vote w/you. Tell the user they'r out of luck.
