Have the different shells an option to echo the keypresses? I want the same effect that an option in telnet, named "Echo local", but my terminal program doesn't have one... and when I run a different program than shell I have echo, not when I'm in the shell.

I'm running [tt]sh[/tt] and/or [tt]bash[/tt] on OpenServer 5.0.5 (ughhhh!)

I hope it works...

Email welcome if you're in a hurry or something -- but post in tek-tips as well please, and I will post my reply here as well.

Thanks ... I solved my problem... was a very weird conflict between emulations in SSH servers, clients and full screen programs.
I hope it works...
