Hi,

This is my first time using this site so I hope I'm making sense. I have a couple of agents in a "q" who need there phone to ring more than once to alert them to an incomming call. Current setup is an Opt. 61c (rls 25) and we are using 2008 phones. When a call comes in to the "q" the phone only gives one long beep. Is there a way to change it so that it continues to beep until it is answered?

Thank You

Try setting LD 15 / FTR / OPT / SBA
LD 11 / CLS / FITA

be warned, if you are on a call, a ringing phone is bloody annoying.

In the Class of service (CLS) set FITA - this will make it beep every ring cycle. And or - RNGI or RNGB - this will change the buzz to a ring.

the forgotten flexible feature tone........to bad they cant change it to a ring cycle

Telephones set up as ACD extns normally only give a bleep to indicate an incoming DN call.
It is possible however to allow the incoming call to bleep regularly, imitating a ring. If an extn has a CLS (class or service) of FITD change it to FITA and the feature will be set.
If however it has neither FITD or FITA then a change will be required in the CDB (customer data block), in order to achieve this function.
The CDB can be printed in LD 21 and changed in LD 15, the OPT (options) section should have DBD changed to DBA, this will then allow the FITA prompt to be programmed onto any ACD extn.

Reusser,

I found FITA in the class of service but was unable to find RNGI/RNGB? is it in the CLS?

Thanks,
