"Party line" calls

81c with Succession 3.0 and Symposium 5.0.

We somewhat regularly get calls where two agents are connected to an incoming call. Generally only one has full audio and call control. It happens when the same 800 inbound number is called exactly at the same time from two different locations.

Anyone had that happen? What was the cure?

A few years ago, I ran in to a similar problem on an 81 running release 25.40. We upgraded to an FNF multi group with a FIJI board and found that our dual port PRI cards had to be downgraded vintage G to make the problem go away. We replaced just about every piece of hardware and had Nortel camped on site for months with senior level engineers that finally figured it out.
