Hi there:
I do not understand what is going on with my images. Every time I upload an image it gets all fuzzy and has lines all over it. check out
nationalcitylibrary.org in order to see what I mean...any clues?

The picture of the library is a gif- as a photo this should be saved as a jpeg to get a clear image.
I'd say most of your problems lie with this.
Go back to your original image as re-export it to a jpeg.

Rule of thumb, if the image has multiple colours mixed together (like a photo) it is best as a jpeg, if it has single blocks of colour, it is best as a gif.

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..

THANK YOU!!! ChrisHirst That cleared it up right away! Thank you thank you!
