Hi,
originaly the system was working (norstar 8x24), it reset to default for unknown reasons, i managed to make it work the way it was, just I still have this problem:
when you configure an external autodial or press Intercom+9 you receive a busy signal and the message displayed is "No Free Lines".
before the system was opening the first available external line and dials automaticaly.
any suggestions will be apreciated.

must have lines in the line pool ...must have access code to the line pool... must give permission for phones to use the assigned line pool

ONLY 17 WEEKS TILL SKI SEASON STARTS

Hi,
can you be more specific with the programation, I just learned that by going trough the menus.
bkrike: you say prime line.
at our location the prime line is I/C, and it has always been like this.
What about pools ans access codes?
I added access to my extention to pools a,b,c,d...etc since then I am getting the message "No Free Lines" but I don't know anything about access codes.
before I added the line pools to my extention I was getting the message "Select line first" when i tryied external autodial.
Thank you.

under each telephone set make sure that they have access to the correct pools and that the prime-line is assigned to i/c if you want them to dial 9 for outside line.

under each line assign the line to the correct pool (useually a)

under access codes assign 9 to pool a and other access codes to other pools you are going to use. check under system configuration (I don't have the right manual here right now.)

now when you go off hook on a telephone you get intercom dial tone, dial 9 and system checks to see what pool you are trying to access then system checks to see if the phone is allowed to access the pool. lastly the system checks to see if there is a free line to use.

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.
