can i stop it ? the device and all software (including EAX) runs perfectly.

helpme get rid of this plz!!

May require you to load software first, then detect. Or may require a driver upgrade from what it loaded. Download site should have given you instructions. Ed Fair

Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply.

Help increase my knowledge by providing some feedback, good or bad, on any advice I have given.

Have you removed the drivers for your old sound card? You could start the computer in safe mode -goto control panel|system|device manager and look to see if there are any duplicates or old sound devices listed If there are delete them. Actually I would delete all sound listings and re-start the computer and let it detect you sound devices again - Hope this helps you

Did you used to have integrated sound? You may need to go into your BIOS and disable the onboard sound. Does it say PCI Multimedia Device or PCI Multimedia Audio Device? It makes a big difference!
