Hi,
At the moment weve got a problem with our login scripts. Users not a member of domainadministrators group dont get their home-dirs mapped. Some users use kix95 loginscripts. Some have their loginscript specified in the AD. Kix is crashing on @homshare and @ingroup is not working. The command "net use * /home" gives an error. When typing the command on the commandline this error is generated.
The user's home directory has not been specified.
More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 3916.
This is not true. The users home dir is specified in the AD. When i look at the env. varibles the env. variable homeshare is not set. When i make the user member of the domainadmins group. Everything is working well. The problem suddenly started yesterday, before yesterday everything was working good. Looked at several knowledgebases etc. but can't find an answer.
Created a workaround by adding all our users to the domain admins group but i'm not happy with this. I also know that ik can use %username%$ variable but this won't always work because the username and homeshares not always have the same name.
Can someone help me?
Greetings,
KTK
