"My Documents" screen display has changed 1

Now I see all my files when I open "My Documents" but the usual information on the left side of screen is missing.
Also, now I cannot get a preview of a file by single- clicking it. It's the same with all my folders.
Can you advise please?

Try this...open "My Computer"/"My Documents"/or some other folder, click on "View" and check to see that that "as Web Page" is checked. If it isn't check it and that should solve your problem. Let me know if it doesn't

Yes it worked and was as easy as!
So I'm back to normal now.
