i have an M3904 set on my desk and an M2616 in my switchroom. My PDN on the M3904 is also programmed as an appearance on the switchroom phone. I set the CLS to POD because whenever I am in the switchroom and my manager is near my regular desk and my phone rings he answers it and listens to my conversation without my knowing it. SO i am fairly certain that making both phones POD will eliminate that. But, I actually don't want him to answer my M3904 set AT ALL. Can I lock it somehow?

press cfw before you leave your desk, so he doesn't hear it ring.
Also change the 2616 in the serverroom to another dn, as cfw on the marped set is overruling the free keys other sets.
Now you can cfw to the serverroom dn and pickup your calls there.

I don't understand what you mean by the "free keys other sets". The server room has its own PDN that doesn't appear anywhere else. My ext which is a PDN on my desk is an a ppearance on the server room phone. If i forward my PDN phone are you saying my appearance DN in server room WILL still ring? i don't see how that's possible.

What you need to do is take off the appearance in the switchroom and just forward your office phone to the swrm set when you are going to work in there.
