I've got a baystack 350T-HD switch, a 450T-24 switch and several Baystack ARN's. My problem is that I've reset them all to default values - so all IP's are showing as 0.0.0.0 - I do not use bootp so I want to manually set the IP/subnet/gateway info on the devices. When I try on any of the devices I get "INVALID IP ADDRESS" no matter what addresses I enter. This happens for all 3 fields (IP/sub/gateway).
I'm using a WinXP PC connecting via serial cable.

Please advise! thanks!

Give an example of what you are trying to enter?

eg. x.12.14.100 IP
255.255.255.128 Subnet mask
x.12.14.1 Gateway

Some threads hint that the XP version of hyperterm is the issue and that other versions before 2000 or other emulators may be the fix

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
