Hi all,

I'm trying to restrict long-distance calls. I barred 0N and 1N in my ARS(50). I created another ARS (51) and allowed long distance.
Created 2 short codes
9N
Dial N
ARS (50)

8N
Dial N
ARS (51)
Force Account code (checked)

I created an account code to be used as a password by the user.

Every time i dial 8 the system allows access to ARS(51) without asking for the account code!
It seems like its a bug because i read that it can be done this way.
Any idea what could be causing that?

Thanks

That is correct, as soon as an 8 is dialled the call is transferred to ARS, if you add a semicolon (;) after the 8N then the call will only go to ARS if the complete number is dialled and the user must enter a account code.

My problem was that i didn't have my lines connected (since i was just testing).
The system asks for the account code after the digits has been sent to the ARS.
I was getting "waiting for lines" so i thought i was not going to be asked to enter the account code.
Thanks
