Hi

I have a BC11/SP9 site and if you set a "Follow Me" from party 'B' to 'C' and then call from a party 'A'('A' internal or external), the call routes to 'C' and displays the fact that there is an incoming call but there is no ringing unfortunately.

If you call party 'C' direct it works as normal. Also party 'C' rings if I use PELPI to set the basic divert.

Switch has had an RFEXI out of hours - still the same.

Any ideas please ?

gedii.

I guess you know the latest servicepack is sp13.
Have you looked in the slogan lists for sp10,11,12 and 13 .

Hi

What is meant by the "slogan list" Excuse my ignorance.

Patch list..
(deescription of patches in a sp release)

Gedii:

This problem has nothing to do with the new patches in SPxx.
It is a fault in your system, so forget about looking at the slogans or patches in newer SP's. What we need here, is a trace when you have the fault active. What to trace? Well, the first question is: how many LIMs? If just one, it's easier, but if several, the trace should be started in the LIm, where the B-party is located. Of course, if this is a system-wide problem, the best idea is to locate the B- and C-party to the same LIM as the A-party. OK. Now, start a trace (I suppose you know how?) on unit RMP,LIM=x. Make a call. Stop the trace and put in on a log file. Insert the trace here (forum), and maybe the fault is already seen there. If not, we'll proceed.
This is NOT a fault in any SP (SYAR!!!!!!).

It's a rule by all technicians where i work to check if the
fault is addressed in a later cna/sp .
Anyhow your right about that because i did a thoural
reading of them yesterday.
Im wondering is there special AS patches involved here
as i have not heard of this fault before ,maybe
market dependant .(FCPLI!!!!!!)

Hi

Just re-visited this thread whilst browsing. The problem at the time was simply down to AS PARNUM 183 being set to "Divert Cadence" (0) which wasn't supported either by the card or telephone concerned.

All good fun hey ?
