"Error. table `aaa` has to many versions"

Hi.
When modifying a table have got an error like
"Error. Table aaa has too many versions". After that I can not make any changes in table aaa. Sweep doesn't help.
As far as I anderstand this is because I have made too many chages in this table.
If you know that to do, please write me back.

Try to commit all of your pending transactions. Use commit instead of commitretaining in your code.
 
I assume "metadata" changes here - not just "changes" - is that right?

Anyway, if this is the case - you can do a maximum of 255 changes to a table, after that, you need to backup and restore your database to reset that counter. It's an internal housekeeping thing.
